Santa clause also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas or even just Santa ensures all the good girls and boys get presents delivered to their homes on the night of Christmas Eve.

Who is Santa Claus?

Santa Clause, Saint Nicholas, Kris Kringle, Santa, Father Christmas – whatever you call Santa he is still the same jolly man who without a doubt is the most famous character of all time. Santa clause stays at the North Pole with Mrs Claus, Nine reindeer and all their elves who help prepare the Christmas top 10 gifts for all the boys and girls. On Christmas Eve Santa and his reindeer take off to delivery all of these wonderful toys all around the world – impressive? We think so!

When santa clause sets off in his big sleigh he is dressed in his red santa suit, black belt, white shirt and most of all his big sack full of presents. Saint Nicholas was originally portrayed wearing bishop’s robes. When santa arrives at your home and the children are sound asleep he goes down the chimney (don’t worry if you don’t have one he will find a way) and sets out all the Christmas Presents under your tree.

  • He loves to have some Milk and Cookies when he visits your house on Christmas Eve... And carrots for his Reindeer

  • He wears a Red suit, with a Red Hat, Black Boots and a Black Belt.

  • He will only deliver to the good girls and boys

    Don’t forget to leave out milk and cookies for Santa as it will be a long night for him or if you live in Scotland they leave out a dram (whisky) and cookies for him ...don’t forget to leave a carrot or two for his reindeers.

    Writing letters to Santa Claus has been a Christmas tradition for children for many years. These letters normally contain a wishlist of the Christmas Presents and assertions of good behavior. Times have now changed and more often than not you can receive a letter form santa himself if you write early enough and you can follow his travels here at FOLLOW SANTA CLAUS so you can see how far he is to getting to your home.

    In Britain it is tradition to burn the Christmas letters on the fire so that they would be magically transported by the wind to the North Pole. However, this tradition is dying out in modern times with few people having true open fires in their homes. Recently however, national postal service Royal Mail revived the tradition by giving "Santa Claus" a special address for you to post to.
