The new playstation 3 console weights approximately two-thirds the size of the first PS3 Console, but it packs a hard drive which is twice the original's size - an amazing 120GB to be precise.
Thanks to its completely remvamped internal architecture (with Cell Broadband Engine™ processor) the new PS3 Slim console runs cooler and quiter thans its PS3 predecessors. The PS3 isn't a games console. Its also has a fully featured Blu-Ray disc player so that you can watch your favourite films and games can be enjoyed at full Hi-Def (HD) via the on-board HDMI port.

I have owned the PS3 for 3 years now having had the origional 60GB model, which unfortunatley after trouble free service broke down on me so I purchased this new slim model to replace it. Firstly the only real difference I find is the obvious one, its looks. Its not as imposing as my last PS3 but the pics don't do it justice, it is a great looking bit of kit. The 120GB hard drive is a very good capacity for everything you might need to store, and with a DVD and Blu-Ray drive you can watch all your favourite films all right here. 5 stars!

Got this as part of the christmas presents santa delivered. and to be honest there really isn't a better choice: the PS3 is just a great all round machine. It has an amazing line up of exclusive games (in particular, Little Big Planet and Uncharted). It plays blu-ray disk movies which look absolutely stunning, as well as letting you download HD movies from the PlayStation store if you don't want to leave the sofa. Deliver's the quality? this does. The internet looks fantastic on a hd tv and the playback via usb of mpeg/wmv format video is superb. Worth the money as a media player alone. It's so much more than that: it's a fantastic all round entertainment centre! The future's bright for PlayStation 3 owners...
